CarrierGrade helps drivers vet motor carriers. This policy explains how we handle the only personal information we collect: your phone number, used to verify reviews.
Phone numbers & SMS
- We collect phone numbers only to send a one-time passcode (OTP) that verifies you are a real person before a review is accepted.
- Phone numbers are cryptographically hashed and are never stored in raw form. We cannot recover your number from what we store.
- We never sell or share phone numbers with third parties. The hash is used only to prevent duplicate reviews of the same carrier.
- Message frequency: 1 message per review submission (your verification code).
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to opt out of messages at any time; reply HELP for help.
Reviews
Reviews are displayed anonymously and in aggregate. We do not attach your phone number, name, or identity to any review shown publicly.
